WUJS Meets with Itsik Moshe, (Chairman of Israeli House) and Georgian Jewish Youth Leaders

On July 21, Itsik Moshe, Chairman of Israeli House and former WUJS Representative in the former Soviet Union, welcomed WUJS President Ariela Di Gioacchino at the Begin Center in Jerusalem during the closing session of the Israel-Georgia Chamber of Business Forum on Bilateral Relations and Public Diplomacy, attended by members of the Knesset and Israeli government officials.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to reconnect with a distinguished WUJS alumnus whose decades of leadership have strengthened public diplomacy and the relationship between Israel and Georgia. Itsik's work with Israeli House, now active in 30 countries, traces back to his years as a WUJS representative in the 1990s, when WUJS helped open the former Soviet Union to Jewish student activity.

Ariela also shared updates on WUJS' current work with the young members of the Georgian delegation and explored opportunities to engage Georgian Jewish students in WUJS programmes, including the 53rd WUJS Congress this December.
