Ariela Di Gioacchino is the President of the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS), the global representative body for over 800,000 Jewish students. She has served as Policy Officer of the European Union of Jewish Students and Editor in Chief of EUJS' The Bridge magazine between 2023 and 2025. Originally from Rome, she was an elected member of the executive board and Secretary General of the Italian Union of Jewish Youth (UGEI) in 2024 and 2025. After graduating in Governance and International Relations, she studied International Relations: Crime, Justice, and Security at the University of Bologna (Italy). Following her participation in several exchange programmes around Europe and the world (Venice International University, Tel Aviv University, Reichman University, Syracuse University) Ariela worked as Executive Assistant in the Public Affairs Office of a Diplomatic Mission in Italy and then moved to Abu Dhabi for an internship at the Embassy of Italy to the United Arab Emirates.
