Know Your Rights Confronting Antisemitism on Campus - A Practical Workshop (Online Session)

On April 15, 2026, WUJS, together with the International Association of Jewish Lawyers (IJL) and the European Union of Jewish Students (EUJS), hosted a session focused on addressing antisemitism online through a legal lens, with 17 participants joining. On behalf of WUJS, Emilia Taran, member of the WUJS Board, presented the results of a WUJS survey on antisemitism conducted in collaboration with ADL, offering insight into the experiences of Jewish students across different regions. The discussion explored how antisemitism is increasingly moving into more complex grey areas, making it harder to define and even harder to challenge. In this context, the session focused on helping student leaders better understand what is protected under the law and how to engage more effectively with university authorities.
