The World Union of Jewish Students delegation and numerous student unions were invited by the World Jewish Congress, to the Auschwitz - Birkenau 75th Liberation Anniversary.
Gathering with hundreds of survivors, their families, as well as politicians, diplomats and many more, the ceremony held on the premises of the camp itself, as a statement to the world of the strength, resilience and continuity of the Jewish people.
The WUJS new leadership were honored to be part of the delegation, and will continue to promote the #WeRemember campaign on campuses across the globe, to ensure Yom Ha'Shoah meaning doesn't fade.
