Rachel is currently the Assistant Director of Hillel at Penn State University in Pennsylvania. She graduated from Allegheny College in 2008 with a degree in Philosophy and Psychology. After Allegheny she served 2 years in AmeriCoprs with Maine Campus Compact working on service learning and community building between college campuses and local towns. She then returned to Allegheny where she spent 5 years as an Assistant Director of Admissions and the Hillel Director. Along the way Rachel also received a Masters in Organizational Leadership with a focus in Nonprofit management from Quinnipiac University. Most recently Rachel spent the last 2 years in Israel at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies learning Jewish texts, exploring Israel, and getting a certificate in Jewish Experiential Education. Rachel is currently a member of the Board of Directors for WUJS and has been assisting with the educational components of Congress for the past 3 years. In her free time you can find her swimming, on the rugby pitch, enjoying the outdoors, or cooking.
