WUJS Congress 2014
In 2014, in order to celebrate the work of our most active students, we initiated the first annual WUJS Awards. Awards are given to individuals and student unions and honour those who have made outstanding contributions to Jewish student life in a number of different areas. Unions and individuals can both nominate and the winners are decided by an independent jury of WUJS alumni and partners.
In addition to the main awards, two other categories of award are presented each year. Congress awards are presented to the most outstanding delegation and delegate respectively, as chosen by the WUJS Congress team during the actual Congress. We also present a maximum of three alumni each year with an honorary life membership of WUJS. These alumni are chosen each year by the WUJS Executive.
